The prize structure below comes from Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 3329, dated 17 September 2025 (G.O.(P) No.145/2025/TAXES, S.R.O. No. 1062/2025), which revised the Bhagyathara scheme after the GST rate on lottery tickets changed in 2025. The first three prizes are common to all series, while prizes 4 to 9 are decided by the last four digits of the ticket number.

Why do the lower prizes run into thousands of winners? With 1.08 crore tickets printed, every four-digit ending appears on 1,080 tickets. So when the draw picks a single four-digit ending for the 4th prize, all 1,080 tickets ending in those digits win ₹5,000. That is how 19 draws of the 4th prize produce up to 20,520 winners.
The consolation prize of ₹5,000 goes to the 11 tickets that carry the same number as the first prize winner but belong to the other 11 series. If your ticket number matches the ₹1 Crore number but the series letters are different, you have won the consolation prize.
